Chris Patten
Former European Commissioner for Foreign Relations Chris Patten became an honorary citizen of Dubrovnik in 2004. He received the award due to his approach towards countries in Eastern Europe and for bringing Croatia closer to entry into the European Union. Mr. Patten was the last British Governor of Hong Kong and is now Chancellor of Oxford University.
