Libertas Film Festival

libertas_film-festival.jpgThe Libertas Film Festival is a celebration of film from all over the world in the walls of the ancient walls of Dubrovnik. The festival is normally held through the summer months although in recent years it has moved to the early part of the season. The festival makes the most of the outside cinemas and spaces around the city and apart from featuring Croatian films the festival is well known for highlighting up and coming films and artists from all over the world.

 

Over the years the festival has had some celebrity names from such as Chris Cooper, Woody Harrelson and Owen Wilson. Screenings under the stars in the heart of the city produce a special feeling and add a special atmosphere for the audience. Every year the Libertas Film Festival introduces a rich program and whether you are a movie buff, a culture vulture or just looking for an entertaining night out the festival will have something for you.
