Cavtat
Although smaller than Dubrovnik, Cavtat is in fact older and the history and architecture of this picturesque place offers many superb photo opportunities. Cavtat is a town in the Konavle region of Dubrovnik. It sits directly on the Adriatic Sea and is only a short twenty minute drive from Dubrovnik. Cavtat is a magnet for tourists due to its quaint feel and tailored gardens.
Gradac Park
About 200 meters before the Old Town Dubrovnik, above the ancient stone houses Gradac Park can be found. Climbing old-style stairs gives a feeling of the sophisticated walk. The moment you reach the top, the role of an ordinary man is lost; you are transformed into the aristocrat that has been sleeping for centuries.
Gorica St. Blaise
Gorica is a part of Lapad and is one of the main districts of the City of Dubrovnik. Until the 80's of the previous century Gorica was just a lonely and rarely inhabited part of the city's coast with only a few pine trees, some bushes, few houses and two churches. Today it is a completely developed nice urban settlement 15 minutes' walk from all other parts of Dubrovnik.
Ston
Ston is a small town in the Dubrovnik area, located at the south of the peninsular of Pelješac about 50 km from the city of Dubrovnik. The drive to Ston is simply breathtaking, as you wind your way along the main coastal road. Ston was a military fort in the time of the Dubrovnik Republic whose defensive walls are among the most famous in the world:
